Lifestyle Medicine is a field of medicine that, based on extensive patient diagnosis and scientific evidence, uses comprehensive changes in daily behavior to prevent disease, reverse its effects and support recovery.

It uses medical, motivational, environmental and behavioral methods in clinical practice and public health field to prevent, treat and reverse lifestyle-dependent diseases.

Behavioral changes are mainly focused in six areas, which include addictions, nutrition, physical activity, stress management, sleep and healthy relationships.
